What is the Graduate Talent Hub?
The Graduate Talent Hub is a live space where graduates, who are ready to start their advertising careers, are made visible to advertising, media, and communications agencies who have entry-level roles available, and are looking to hire graduates, like you.
Agencies can review the hub when suitable entry-level roles become available and work with the Comms Council to introduce them to candidates who may be a good fit.
How the Graduate Talent Hub works
There’s no deadline. Applications are always open. Whether you’re finishing your degree next month or you’ve been out for a few weeks, you apply when you’re ready to start full-time work. You submit your CV and a video cover letter. In your video tell us about yourself, what drives you, why you want to work in advertising. Keep it genuine; we want to know you.
We review applications as they arrive. If your application is successful we’ll reach out to arrange an interview to learn what drives your interest in the industry and understand how you think.
If the interview goes well, you’ll be invited to join the Graduate Talent Hub where you’ll be visible to agencies across Aotearoa who are recruiting entry-level talent.
Throughout the year, as agencies have roles come up – Media Assistant, Account Executive, or other entry-level positions – they access the hub. If they think you could be a good fit, we’ll arrange an interview for you.

Ready to apply?
Applications are open year-round. You can apply when you are ready to begin looking for full-time work.
The Comms Council reviews each application. Selected applicants are invited to a short introductory interview so we can learn more about your interests and the types of roles that may suit you.
If your application is accepted, your profile will be added to the Graduate Talent Hub to be viewed by agencies recruiting for entry-level roles
When an agency identifies a candidate they would like to meet, the Comms Council confirms the opportunity and coordinates an introduction.
