AXIS exists to set industry benchmarks for creativity — rewarding work where insight, strategy and execution come together to make an impact. The awards reflect the evolving role of creativity across advertising, brand, craft and experience.

 

Entries are judged against defined criteria, with a focus on the strength of the idea, quality of execution and the results achieved.

Category judging: Tuesday 17 February - Friday 27 February 2026

 

Executive judging: Tuesday 3 March - Thursday 12 March 2026

Eligibility

To be eligible, entries must:

  • Be work that ran in New Zealand between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.

  • Be paid advertising/content that was part of a media schedule within the eligibility period.

  • Have been purchased by a media agency or the advertiser.

  • Be entered in the correct media category that matches the work.

 

Media Owner entries

  • Media Owners may enter, and do not need an agency/advertiser to enter on their behalf.

  • Media Owners can also enter with an agency/advertiser. 

 

What’s not eligible

  • Work entered into a media category that doesn’t align with the work.

Where: Viaduct Events Centre, Auckland

 

Tickets

Tickets for AXIS Speaks and The AXIS Awards Show are sold separately. To attend both events, you’ll need to purchase tickets for each event individually. (AXIS Speaks tickets go live soon.)

Important dates

  • Early Bird ends: 5:00pm, 7 March (Standard pricing applies from 5:01pm)
  • Ticket sales close: 5:00pm, 18 March
  • Dietary requirements due: 4:00pm, 11 March

 

Pricing (AXIS Awards Show)

  • Members — Early Bird: $300 + GST & fees
  • Non-members — Early Bird: $330 + GST & fees
  • Members — Standard: $330 + GST & fees
  • Non-members — Standard: $360 + GST & fees

 

Table arrangements

Tables seat 10 guests. If you’d like to be seated with specific people or companies, add a note when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

 

Dietaries

You can provide dietary requirements for each guest during checkout. If you need to update details after purchase, use Manage Order in your Humanitix confirmation email. Please note we’re unable to accommodate dietary requests submitted after 4:00pm on 11 March.
