TALENT
In March, all of our agency members successfully finalized their entry-level talent recruits from our annual recruitment program and Agency Day, with all new hires starting this month.
It's been a rewarding experience visiting our successful candidates at their new workplaces! Everyone is thrilled to embark on their journey into the industry with the guidance and support of our amazing members. We'll be sharing photos as we visit each of them!
To kick things off, we’re excited to introduce Milly, who joined Special New Zealand as a Business Executive, as well as Amy and Mackenzie at Saatchi, also as Business Executives. Will Thomas has joined TBWA as a Business Executive, and Rhiaan Watene has started as a Media Assistant at Spark Foundry.
If you're looking to bring on entry-level talent or want to chat about future entry-level talent needs, don't hesitate to reach out to Amanda.

AUT CAREERS EXPO & ON-CAMPUS PRESENTATION
As part of our strategic initiative to connect with tertiary students throughout Aotearoa, we participated in the AUT Careers Expo on Thursday, March 13th. The event saw a significant turnout of over 620 students, providing us with valuable opportunities to engage with young students interested in careers within the advertising, media, and communications industry. We further capitalized on this engagement by delivering a follow-up presentation to the wider student body on campus the following week.
Looking ahead, we will be focusing on engaging with high school students in Auckland through Careers Expos scheduled for June. This presents an opportune moment to introduce our industry as a potential career pathway for them to consider.
Our engagement with tertiary institutions will continue in July with planned attendance at Careers Expos, on-campus presentations, and lecture participation at Auckland, Otago, and Victoria Universities.
