The Commercial Communications Council has forged an alliance with its counterpart in the United Kingdom, the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), to deliver the IPA portfolio of award-winning qualifications and courses to agencies and clients in the New Zealand marketing and communications industry.
A comprehensive course which covers the fundamentals of the advertising and media agency world. The course is now regarded as one of the most valuable and effective courses for those with fewer than three years’ experience.
The qualification covers a range of subjects including definitions of effectiveness, evaluation and accountability; why businesses should invest in it, how it has developed over time, who has a stake in evaluation and current debates about the topic. It also looks into the broad principles behind different types of objectives that can be set.
