Jill Chestnut | Tourism NZ
Jill Chestnut is the Global Manager, Brand & Experience for Tourism New Zealand responsible for the brand strategy and campaign platform globally.
Passionate about long term brand building, and big ideas that deliver tangible results, Jill has been with Tourism New Zealand for 5 years and was part of the team that won the Global Effie for Good Morning World, as well as subsequent highly successful and awarded work for the brand.
Jill has over 15 years’ experience both agency and client side in New Zealand, Sydney, Tanzania and London covering telco, banking, retail and travel.
Jodi O’Donnell | TVNZ
Jodi is the Commercial Director at TVNZ and is responsible for championing customers and partnering with our agency and advertising partners to deliver revenue through our sales and content creation teams.
With over 20 years’ experience in the media and marketing industry across a range of senior Marketing Communications and Commercial role, Jodi is a leader who brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and skill to the industry. She is committed to working alongside agencies and advertisers to understand their challenges and identify the important role video plays in their communication mix.
She loves a good discussion with her clients about how viewing habits are evolving and the future for video consumption – while also busting some of the myths and misconceptions about what viewers watch each night in the comfort of their own homes today.
Kelley Toy | Fire & Emergency
Kelley Toy made an immediate impact when she joined Fire and Emergency New Zealand as National Marketing Manager in 2018 and continues to find new ways of making all New Zealanders safer through fire safety messaging. But before Fire and Emergency, her mahi (work) could not have been more different. Toy had been the Marketing Director of a tech-start up in America and Hong Kong, and, prior to that, spent 15 years developing and launching new products globally for Fonterra.
Toy credits her engineering background, strategic thinking and entrepreneurial drive homed in these previous roles, as crucial to her current mahi. Using an evidence-based, data led approach, she loves thinking outside the box, taking carefully calculated risks to deliver exceptional results. Toy has been the driving force in multiple award-winning marketing campaigns (Escape Week, You're Cooked, Wildfire Prevention) and, most importantly, helped Fire and Emergency drive behavioural changes that really does save lives.
Lauren Cooke | NZTA
Lauren Cooke is a highly regarded marketing leader with a real passion for making a difference through her leadership and work. Currently the National Manager Education and Marketing at Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency, she is focused on driving an integrated, creative and insight led approach to social marketing to support Aotearoa / New Zealand’s ambitious transport outcomes.
Prior to joining Waka Kotahi, Lauren had a long and rewarding career in the energy sector both in New Zealand and the UK, with 14 years at Shell New Zealand/Z Energy leading brand, consumer marketing and loyalty marketing through a period of significant change and growth.
Renee Milkop-Kerr | Fonterra
Renee Milkop-Kerr is Fonterra Brands NZ’s Marketing Director, where she leads the marketing strategy for a broad portfolio of some of NZ’s favourite FMCG brands like Anchor, Mainland and Fresh ‘N Fruity.
Prior to joining Fonterra in May 2023, she was the Executive Manager of Marketing at IAG (AMI, State, NZI) and the General Manager of Marketing at Fletcher Building. The first 13 years of her career were in FMCG with 6 years working in the UK for Lactalis, a global French dairy company. She credits her diverse background with helping her uncover opportunities for growth in unfamiliar places.
She holds bachelor degrees from the Victoria University of Wellington in commerce majoring in marketing and an arts degree majoring in modern languages and statistics. She also holds a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Otago.
Sean Wiggans | Turners Auto Retail
Sean’s career started with 8 years in advertising here and in London before moving into marketing. 7 years were spent in FMCG before his current role as General Manager of Marketing at Turners Auto Retail. Throughout his career he has championed Marketing as a growth driver for business. Probably why he’s no stranger to EFFIEs success winning Golds with V Energy while at Frucor and again last year with 2 Golds in Retail/Etail and Best Strategic Thinking with the now iconic Tina from Turners campaign. ‘Tina’ also took out 2 categories (Brand Transformation and Consumer Products/Services Strategy) and the Supreme Marketing Excellence Award at the 2022 NZ Marketing Awards where Sean and his team were finalists for Marketer of the Year and Marketing Team of the Year.
At Turners he has a broad remit to drive profitability by building the brand, driving lead acquisition and improving the customer experience across all touch points online and offline. He has been heavily involved in Turners’ digital transformation journey from a marketing and data perspective; and continues to champion creativity and the harnessing of data to drive marketing and business results.
Simon Hofmann | Kiwibank
Simon Hofmann is the GM of Brand and Marketing at Kiwibank - the largest New Zealand owned bank. Simon leads the Brand, Marketing, Digital, Data and eComm practises and has recently led the integrated transformation of Kiwibank.
